James Carter (full name James Earl "Jimmy" Carter, Jr.) was born in Plains, Georgia on October 1, 1924. He is the 39th President of the United States.

Biography and Career:

James Carter was provided with an environment where talk of politics, fully devotion and belief to Baptist and peanut forming were the things of common observation. He got his graduation degree from naval academy in 1946. He married Rosalyn Smith and had three sons and a daughter.

James Carter was elected as Governor of Georgia in 1970 after his entry in politics in 1962. The main agenda of his campaign was government efficiency, ecology important and abolishment of racial barriers which draw the attention of common people.

In Dece mber 1974 he initiated a great campaign and announced his presidency candidacy which got acceleration in two years. He was nominated as candidate of 1st ballot by democrats. He attracted the attention of people by impressive debates against Gerald R. Ford and got victory in presidential election by a good margin.

During presidency James Carter agenda was based on Economic progress and reduction of unemployment but unfortunately inflation and interest rates reached to their record level.

His huge achievement was the creation of energy policy and control on petroleum prices to provoke the production. His foreign policy was also impressive. He had his own style for the issue of Human Rights. Because of Camp David agreement he tried his level best to reduce tension between Israel and Egypt. Moreover Panama Canal treaties and good friendly relations with China and all other nations were his good objectives.
