Kim Kardashian first acting role was in the TV series "Beyond the Dark". In 2008, she had a role in "Disaster Movie" that was actually a real disaster. She also had a small role in an episode of "How I Met Your Mother", named "Benefits". Beside her television career, Kim had some small modeling roles.

In 2007, she posed nude for Playboy Magazine. Soon after that, in February 2008, Bongo Jeans announces Kim Kardashian as their new face model. During the same period, Kim is also a model for Travis Barker's Famous Stars and Straps clothing line. Her fame is growing fast and on July 2008 she announced on her personal blog that she started a new project and that she wants to release a personal perfume line in 2009.

In March 2009, Kim is expanding her business by launching a shoe shopping service. He is also the co-owner of a clothing boutique called D-A-S-H which fast became extremely popular.
