C plus plus Sockets, an extensive C plus plus library for everyone

Q:   Ask a Question about C plus plus Sockets, an extensive C plus plus library for everyone
C plus plus Sockets, an extensive C plus plus library for everyone Personally, I’m not a C++ developer and I’m not a fan of C++ (I find other similar applications easier to use and more flexible) but there is a strange trend in C++ development: expensive C++ libraries.

A C++ library is a collection of codes (usually pre-made lines of code) which can be used to develop new applications or to enhance those you already have created. For some reason, most of these libraries are quite expensive. Of course, making such a library requires time and effort but these are optional “add-ons” and many C++ developers can handle just fine without any additional libraries.

Following this idea maybe, Anders Hedström has released C++ Sockets, an interesting C++ library. C++ Sockets was released under a free GNU license and it is accessible to everyone (developer or not) as long as you have C++ program installed into your computer.

The good thing about free libraries is that you can actually install and test them with no risks and no expenses. If you find them useful, you can always supports their developers with small donations. You can see that like an investment. Using such libraries, a computer user can develop some application and sell it for profit. Supporting the library developer can ensure that the developer will further improve his library or release new ones.

All in one, Anders Hedström did a great job with C++ Sockets. The library is easy to install and use, you can find plenty of tutorials and examples to guide you and you can always ask for more help from its developer.
