I think it is safe to assume that many of you are familiar with Cartoon Network universe. If you know at last some of the heroes from this universe, you are going to enjoy this game. However, keep in mind that FusionFall was designed as a simple game for children so do not expect something extraordinary out of it.
FusionFall is a light MMORPG; it is easy to create a new character and easy to navigate around. You are going to play a character in the Cartoon Network universe and your mission is to stop this evil entity (Fuse) that took over the world. Don't expect some impressive turn around in the game story because this story is more than linear. You are going to meet some popular characters from Cartoon Network universe such as Ben 10, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter, The imaginary friends and
many more, so for those that had seen them on TV, this game can prove to be extremely interesting.
The environment has a decent graphic but no depth. More than 95% of what you see is impossible to be touched because of an invisible barrier that will limit your movement and interaction with objects. You can't even interact with all the NPCs around but only with those with an "!" above their head. That mark means that particular NPC has a quest for you or some important information that will help in solving a puzzle. However, do not expect at some complicated quests and puzzles. Remember that this game is designed for children and those that are not familiar with MMORPGs universe.
In dealing with villains you are going to use some interesting weapons made out of everyday items (for those that are familiar with Kids Next Door cartoon, is the same principle).
Now, the game is an MMORPG so you will see others playing it and looking for a team for more difficult missions. I was surprise to see how many people are playing FusionBall and how nice everyone is so parents can leave their children to play this game without the fear of inappropriate language or excessive violence. Even killing the enemies can be optional because they won't attack unless you get really close to them. Like this, you can avoid most of the difficult battles.
One last thing about this game: the only way to actually level up is to find Nanos (this is a new concept; Nanos are some small floating objects related with your character). There are 30 Nanos in the world but your character can carry only 3 at any given time. Each Nano has different abilities so use them wisely in combat because they can make the difference.
