Mistakes are parts of the process of learning. A child aware of this thing will always fell capable of trying, which will help him make progresses in his study.

As a parent you always have to remember the golden rule for educating your children: not too much nor too little. That is why parents must only guide and support their off-springs. They have to create for their children an environment ideal for learning and just be next to them, without exaggerating. Going to school is the child's job and he must understand this thing so that he finds alone a place in his collectivity. Sooner or later we all have to confront our limitations and to try to overpass them. We may succeed or we may also fail. Failure is also a part of our existence and we have to learn how to deal with it. Some children can’t stand admitting they may be wrong or that they may have done something they we not supposed to do. Maybe because they are afraid of what others may think of them or because they were told they always had to be perfect.

What are parents supposed to do when their children make mistakes?

They have to know that mistakes are the basis of each learning as they make the child find solutions and develop new strategies for their problems. Parents and teaches also make mistakes and nobody blames them. Analyzing the mistakes you can discover the causes. Only eliminating the causes the child can be guided. He must feel proud all the time and you always have to highlight the successes and not the mistakes he makes.

Children must learn that efforts and perseverance are necessary to become the best in whatever you have to do. Many times parents tend to dramatize whenever their children make a mistake and they draw the wrong conclusions. Children take them seriously and they can understand the wrong thing. They don't want perfect parents but honest persons who know how to explain what they don’t understand. Explain your child what he doesn't understand and don’t expect him to be able to take for granted everything you tell hem.

In conclusion children are strong enough to be scolded or to receive a prize at the same time. You only have to learn how to guide him in leaning what life is really about.
