Chinese Astrology The Five elements/phases/cycles play an important part in Feng Shui analysis and those five elements are water, wood, fire, earth and metal. Within the living space, these elements are used to enhance the certain energies.

In the Chinese Astrology, the five element theory serves as a basis for analyzing a Four Pillars chart. These four pillars are the Year, Month, Day and Hour.

Yang Wood, Yin Wood, Yang Fire, Yin Fire, Yang Earth, Yin Earth, Yang Metal, Yin Metal, Yang Water and Yin Water are the ten stems due to which the heavenly stem in a Four Pillars birth chart can be composed. Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig are the earthly stems.

In one or more hidden elements each of the animals consists. As now the 2010 is the year of t he Tiger.

First to determine the favorable and unfavorable elements of your birth chart is very important for the practitioner. Fire is to the South, water is to the North, metal is to the West and Northwest, wood is to the East and Southeast, earth is to the Southwest and Northeast and these are to maintain a simple approach.

The elements and animals are also seasonal as, for example, the Spring is composed of the Tiger, Rabbit and Dragon, there is the Snake in the Summer, Horse and Goat; for autumn, it includes the Monkey, Rooster and Dog; finally, in the Winter, the Pig, Rat and Ox.

Each element produces, controls, or reduces an element when we quickly sum up the five element theory. However, the water produces wood, wood itself reduces water; the same goes for fire reducing wood and so on.

Determining the valuable elements can help a practitioner solve some of the problem like if a person asks about their career and wants to know which countries, they would be suitable to work in.

A person can move towards the East; East Asia, Eastern United States, East of Australia who is favorable with the woods.

After the proper training and the experience of the Feng Shui practitioner, you can easily determine the most favorable and unfavorable elements and also come up with some of the possible solutions to increase the part of your life for example, career, wealth, health or relationships.
