I was watching TV when I suddenly heard a deep scream. I got a fright at hearing that and I immediately went into my sister's bedroom. She was terrified and I saw her crying. Clara woke up with a shock but what could have happened to her?
'Why are you crying? What has happened to you?'
'I have just had a horrible nightmare…it seemed that I was on a trip with my handball team in Spain. And our coach driver was somehow hurrying because we were a little late and we didn't have enough time to rest for the next day's match. But then we suddenly felt a blow and the coach stopped. Everybody was screaming and the coach was rolling down on a valley. The diver had lost the control of the car, which got off the roadway. Nobody was dead but many of us had different wounds.
But I was in the worst condition: I could not move my legs as they were stuck under the chair I was sitting on. I began crying harder and then I found myself in the hospital and a young doctor was telling me:' You won't be able to walk again. Unfortunately you have had a terrible accident and you have remained paralysed.'
'Come on, it had all been a dream. Don't worry! Try to calm yourself and I am going to give you a glass of water!'
'Yes, maybe you're right, but I'm scared. It can be a sign that something bad is going to happen. Remember that in one week time we are just going to leave for Spain as we have a very important match there. It is a very big coincidence.'
'You are very pessimistic, what's going on with you? All that happens is because of your unconscious mind which is usually active in our dreams. You are thinking about this tournament too much that's why you have started to dream about it. It is like when you have an exam the next day and you dream that you have obtained a very bad mark but in fact it is just the opposite. It has happened to you various times, so you don't have why to worry about.'
'Well, thank you, you have always made me feel better. But I was very terrified to hear that doctor telling me I'd never be able to walk again. I think this is the cruelest thing that can happen to somebody and especially to a sportsman. I think I'd die if something like that happened to me.'
'That's enough. Try to drink this water and I'll be here with you. And nothing bad will happen, trust me'.
'Would you sleep in my bedroom tonight, please? I don't want to be alone'.
'Sure, don't worry. You'll wake up with sweet dreams in the morning, I guarantee this to you'.
'I hope that. Good night and thank you a lot'.
'You're the best sister in the world and I'll always be next to you when you'll need my help.'
