Dance routines for Cheerleaders Cheerleading, a well choreographed dance is one of the biggest attractions in any kind of sports. It is a major element of entertainment.

The people involved have to do lots of hard work and practice on regular basis to make their dance to the perfection. The dance steps should be clean and must be in proper synchronization.

Firstly you should be aware about what actually audience wants. There are various things that audience looks in cheerleaders such as techniques, dance moves, creativity, consistency and enthusiasm.

To make dancing more effective, there should be proper planning before dance. The whole act of dancing can be divided into three phases beginning, middle, and the end.

In the beginning of the routine, the team members are at high energy levels and can dance a hi gh intensity routine for several minutes. The most difficult acrobatics and cheerleading stunts should occur at the beginning of the routine.

The moves should be clean and it should be done with ease. Since a difficult acrobatics looks impressive only if the tumbler can perform consistently and hence the best tumblers should always be in front.

During the middle time there should be less use of difficult stunts and more stress should be given for cheering their respective teams.

More concentration should be given on transitions from your stunts in the beginning of the routine, to dancing position onto ending formation. Always choreograph small portion of the squad separately and use counts to minimize difficulty of dance steps.

The end of the routine should leave a lasting impression on the audiences. It is only the end of any game that makes more interesting for the audiences to watch.

Always dance co-operatively as it will look nice visually and will also be easier for your squad to perform. Finish the routine with an easy pyramid formation.

Improper arm, hand or foot positioning, and loose or bent bodies will make the routine look not so good.

All dance steps from all the cheerleaders should come at the same time. Hence complete dedication is required by all cheerleaders. Take steps to make dance error free.
