The public figures all over the world seem to have a bad habit, no matter the field they are famous in. Extravagances, wild parties, glamour and style, these terms are no strangers to any of them. The public figures I am speaking about have reached fame and fortune one way or another and are now under the impression that they have the right to do anything their hearts may desire. They even claim that the public should not try to find out any juicy details of their lives.
Of course, the actors, the singers or any kind of performers may do anything they please with themselves, provided that they are not a bad example for the millions of teenagers looking up to them. This is when the public should condemn them and take action. In my opinion, those performers who
want to lead a crazy life should keep it to themselves and walk away from the spotlights.
Nevertheless, when it comes to the public figures who are part of any political or administrative authorities, things turn around dramatically. These are the people to represent the public, meaning all of us normal persons. They stand out from the crowd by the rights we have invested them with. Therefore, they have the responsibility of representing us in front of different sorts of other authorities worldwide. These public figures should probably lead moderate lives and never make a laughing stock of themselves by doing inappropriate things. The main reason for this statement is the fact that these public figures are the mirror of a nation and that their personal lives must not have an impact on the people they are representing.
Sometimes they seem too stupid or careless to mind the public's opinions. They keep doing their thing and not waste a moment to consider the consequences. Therefore, if us, the public, have the right to know about the private lives of the public figures, we will also have the power of making them step away when things take a strange turning.
