Eat Balanced Diet In today's world, many people have stopped eating nutritious food. Rather they eat processed foods, or they even smoke, drink alcohol.

Due to this we ignore rich nutrient food items. One should have a balanced diet, a diet which has adequate amount of all nutrients required for health, growth and activity.

The normal diet can be divided into five groups on the basis of nutrient content. Group One contains Wheat, Rice and Cereals which are major sources of starch, carbohydrates, B-Vitamins and fiber. One should take group one contents for 6-8 times daily.

Group Two contains Dairy products which are major sources of calcium, protein and vitamins. Vitamin A, B2, B6, B12 and D are available from Dairy products. This should be taken for 2-4 times daily.

Group Three contains Fruits and Vegetables which are major sources of vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates and fiber. This should be taken for 4-6 times daily. Group Four contains Meat, Fish, Poultry and Pulses which are major sources of protein, Vitamin B12, zinc and iron.

This should be taken for 2-3 times daily. Group Five contains Fats, Oils and Sugar which are major source of energy in our body. This should be barely adequate.

These groups contain all nutritions which are essential for the body. People should first plan the diet with the consultation of family doctor or some other people who eat balanced diet.

Then they should put the plan into the implementation. It can take time to put the plan into the implementation but one has to take firm determination about this. You can even put your weight in control by eating balanced diet. One should eat at fixed time in the day. Changing the time of eating also creates problem.

One should have a habit of eating fruits. Eating fruits increases your immunity against the development of age-related maculopathy and eye diseases. Moreover many fruits provide Vitamin C which is good for the eyesight.

The contents those are available for each group comprises a balanced diet. Some people don't give much time in eating balanced diet just because of their hectic schedule. But they have to make a time for their balanced diet. Ultimately, they get the advantage of this in future.
