Progress has brought many benefic things to our society, but also many conflicts regarding the emancipation of women, who, sick and tired of being considered only nice dolls who make their husbands and boyfriends very proud of themselves, have decided to take some action and claim their equal rights in politics, economy, family or the place where they work.
Eventhough there are many " machos" who consider that women belong to the kitchen, that they only should take care of the children, and, from time to time be taken out to a restaurant, women have taken control over things and have begun to impose their authority.
Women are hard-working, responsable, intelligent, and, above all, they think twice before taking a decision. These are only one of the reasons th
at have made women become presidents of states, prime ministers, members of the parliament, managers or leading figures in mass media. Men should recognize that women never forget their duties at work and, at the same time, at home.
There is also the case of the men who consider that women driving a car are a complete disaster, but nobody wants to admit that 90% of the accidents take take place have men drivers. The facts are more real than " machist" prejudices and stereotypes.
Women rule the society we live in. It differs only the way in which they do that: openly or more discreetly, as all of us recognize that behind a strong man lies an even stronger woman.
So, as to avoid future social conflicts, men would better change their way of thinking and accept the "cruel" reality that women do make a difference in society.
