It is said that usually persons learn from their experience and the mistakes they make throughout their existence. We can agree with this because life teaches us what is correct to do and what is not.
Let's think of a student who hasn't learnt for his exam and, as a result, he receives a very bad mark. Maybe he doesn't really care for it but in the moment when he is in class and his teacher begins to give him as a bad example in front of his classmates, the student would surely feel very bad. He'd think that everybody sees him as a stupid student and this failure would give him the ambition to demonstrate that, in fact, he isn't so stupid and that he is capable of having a good mark, too.
Then, let's consider a mistake we have made while trying to learn how to
drive. It is true that, being just a beginner, it is common to commit mistakes but after doing wrong something once, twice or three times, it is quite impossible to make the same error a fourth time. Everyone would try his best in order to improve things and he'd feel very pleased to notice those improvements really happen.
On the other hand, being successful in everything he does, one cannot know what failure represents. He'd always see only the best part of things and he'd never feel defeated by the difficulties in life. Here we can mention the case of a very successful football player, who has known what fame is from the very beginning of his career. But maybe all his luck originates from his great talent he was born with, whereas some fellow members have to work hard because they make mistakes in their game and they need to improve this.
In the end, we can say that one in life needs to make mistakes in order to better appreciate things. He should know how to respect people around him, how to behave in family and never repeat the same errors, even if the circumstances were different. Failure teaches people what defeat means and how can one feel ashamed in front of a group of people. But at the same time, it can teach you how important is to fight, to obtain something you wish for in life. All this way up would give someone confidence in his own powers and, at the same time, moments of happiness and content when seeing the changes or improvements.
