F.E.A.R. abbreviates as First Encounter Assault Recon. This is a horror themed video game that is a first person shooter and was developed by Monolith Productions and later published by Vivendi. This game was released on 17th October 2005 for use in windows platform. It was ported by Day 1 Studios to Playstation and Xbox 360. Two expansion packs were released by Timegate Studios in 2006. They were Extraction Point and F.E.A.R. Persues Mandate.
The story line is placed around a supernatural effect or phenomenon. F.E.A.R. is a fictional Special Forces team that is called to contain this phenomenon. The player will be in the role of the Point Man of the organization who has supernatural reflexes. He and his team have to uncover the truths behind the menace in a little girl.
