"Loneliness is a prison which can be opened only from inside", used to say Alfredo La Mont. And he was so right! We don't have to wait for others to come and rescue us from loneliness- the key is in our mind and our soul.
Are you lonely? If so, find out that you are not the only one who is feeling this way. Many persons feel that are alone, that they haven't found the right place in this world, that they don't have real friends, real support, that everything seems useless. And then, what's to be done?
There is always a reason which makes you feel alone. Till one moment you feel at ease with yourself and all of a sudden you fall in a state of depression that makes you feel this way. If you know that some questions related to the meaning of life, divinity or the
perspective of human kind make you feel lonely, then why do you ask yourself all these? Keep away from these questions and instead read a book, go out with your friends, relax more. If you feel you have lost your way, find it again. See life from another perspective and with other eyes.
On the contrary, there are persons who feel great when they are alone. They don’t get bored as they always find something interesting to do and they enjoy every moment which they can spend with themselves. The secret of these persons is that they know themselves too well and they don’t need someone else next to them.
Don’t hesitate to make new friends. Maybe the one you already have make you bored, but these new persons can make you think at something else, can bring something new to your "flat" existence.
It is not always compulsory to be alone to feel lonely. You can also be surrounded by your family or your friends and to feel you are away from them. You feel no one knows you the way hey should.
Do all the things you have dreamt at and which you never had the time to put into practice: go shopping, watch a good film, take dancing lessons or paint your house. All these things will make you feel good about yourself and you will begin to see things from another perspective.
Accept you the way you really are, with positive traits, but also with flaws and you will see how good you feel. Loneliness will disappear by itself and you will find out that being lonely is not such a bad thing after all.
