Gothic 3 is a fantasy theme based role playing game on Windows background from Piranha Bytes, a famous German game developer. This is in sequence to its older version Gothic 2. The game was released in German, although English versions are also available. The Gothic 3 was released all over the European Union on October 13 2006. This eventually became available across America. This version was almost similar to the one that was available in UK. A special Collector's edition also got released, they had bonus collectible material. The player has to finish quests and kill monsters and wild animals to learn and improve their skills. Gothic 3 is reputation centric that allows the player the option to side with one faction. There are six factions in total out of which only three can be joined. Th
ey are the Orc mercenaries, Rebels and the Assassins. The other ones are the Nomads, the people of Nordmar and the Rangers. The games claims of employing a strange system of combat that emphasis precisely times combination of attacks. This process requires the player to understand the body language of their opponents. The most effective strategy in the combat seems to be to click the left mouse button as as fast as possible. If you can time this perfectly, any enemy can be killed with much more ease. A stronger action was the focus in the later versions of the game. Navigation and combat are more mouse centric. Each mouse action has a different combat action.
Why do we like Gothic 3?
Since the release, all of the concerns were around bugs. The game how ever has tons of quests. It rewards exploration. But the system however is cruised of hogging and feeling uncompleted. The game also has a drawback of atrocious voice.
