Health Maintenance through Positive Thinking In the past people was of view that good health meant the absence of diseases but now days it not just the absence of diseases but a full potential of mental, physical, social activeness. The world health organization (WHO) has clearly stated that having no disease is not enough for good health it also involves positive and negative thinking.

Negative health has a subjective components of illness and discomfort and objective components of injury, handicap and deformity. While the positive health has two components that are well being and fitness. These includes the balance of physical, mental and social ingredients where as wellbeing indicates the psychosocial component.

When people were asked to define the health in their words, their beliefs about health are following, good condit ion, having energy, happy, absence of sickness etc.
Health is a gift of God to maintain the good health one should focus on healthy life style and think positively.

Here are some suggestions:
Exercise daily as physical activities are very beneficial for health. Your diet should be balanced and nutritious, avoid the much use of sugar, alcohol or any drug. Take a proper sleep it would reduce the stress.

Positive thinking helps to reduce stress and improve your health. Health benefits that a positive thinking may provide include:
- Lower rates of depression
- Greater resistance to the common cold
- Better psychological and physical well-being
- Better skills to cope during destitution and times of stress

From the above statement it is clear that people having positive thinking can enjoy healthy and better life. Maintaining a positive attitude one can easily get success.
