Valentine's Day is though to be a perfect occasion for couples to make declarations of love to each other, give loving presents, spend some days in a special place and be very happy all day long. Both girls and boys are looking for presents for their pair, and want to make them the most beautiful and significant present they have ever received. All bars, restaurants and parks are completely full on Valentine's Day. Couples go out to celebrate, alone or with other couples, too.
But what happens to single people on Valentine's Day? Do they feel sad or indifferent? Would they have liked to have a relation and receive presents? Well, we have to admit that everybody would be happy to receive a nice present or to hear the person he or she is in love with saying a love p
oem or making an invitation to a special restaurant. But not all people have this luck, at least not at a certain moment. Still, single people should not worry about it because they should try to see the event through other eyes.
Therefore, for single persons, Valentine's Day should be an opportunity to meet friends who are single too, and go somewhere downtown and have great fun. Maybe this is an occasion to meet an interesting person who is alone, too, and start a relationship. However, other single persons feel sad and they refuse to go out on this day, even if friends insist on this. In my opinion, they take a wrong decision, as even if you don't have a partner, this doesn't mean that there are no other alternatives for you to spend pleasant moments on such occasion.
To conclude, single persons on Valentine's Day share opposed feelings, depending on their mood and personality. A crazy person, who loves having fun and going out, will see this special day for people in love, as another opportunity to leave home in search for fun. On the contrary, a melancholic single person will stay at home probably watching a love story at the TV and crying until the movie ends.
