Those who are mad about nature have agreed that Chile is the most interesting corner on the face of Earth. Advantages: in the South giant glaciers, lakes and woods in the central part and volcanoes, beaches and sun in the North.
Those who have the courage to cross the Andes from Argentine have the privilege to arrive at this grandiose natural paradise.
In the South part of the country there is the National Park Torres del Paine, where a rock of about 3,000 meters lifts from the Patagonian plane. The lakes, the waterfalls and the glaciers offer an incredible festival of nature. If you are lucky you can see Guan
o and the Patagonian condors, the enigmatic masters of the sky and the land.
At about 1,000 km towards the North there is the region of the lakes in Chile, dominated by the Osorno Volcano, one of the most beautiful in the world, where there has been set up a sky slope.
By a bus from Santiago you can get to the rich town Vina del Mar, where the president also lives. Palm trees, parks and pools have made of Vina the garden city of the country, where the dominant word is relaxation.
In the countryside men live from fishing and simple agriculture. They are proud of their rural houses and the wood churches.
One of the most attractive zone is the Atacama dessert. The starting point in this journey is San Pedro de Atacama, an dream-like oasis which proves men lived here 11,000 years ago.
You have everything here: mountains, hills, planes, and the ocean. If you are eager to jump into the water don’t worry because there are zones where the water is warm almost the entire year. The local inhabitants will know to show you where it is safe for you to swim.
The food is delicious and is based on fish and vegetables. There you should never worry about chemicals or fast food because all the products are fresh and cultivated by the local people.
