Nowadays, in Romania, a good perfume is like Kent cigarettes in the past, when people could not afford to buy them. But do women in Romania know what perfume matches perfectly their personality and tastes, the season of the year or the occasion? Or do they just use cheap perfumes or the ones they receive on different occasions, as for example on the eight of March?
In Romania, the majority of women buy cheap perfumes, because they don't have money to afford buying good brands. There are companies that produce perfumes, like Avon or Oriflame, which offer a variety of perfumes and at both low and higher prices. Women between eighteen and thirty-five years old prefer to buy these products because they have a medium income.
Then, women in Romania also buy perfumes
in supermarkets, because here, too, they can find acceptable prices. Even if there are a lot of faked products, with strong aromas and which can irritate the skin, women still buy these types of products. Moreover, they will use the perfumes they have received at their birthday even if that perfume does not match with their personalities. Not to forget that many times, women just buy a certain perfume because they have heard a colleague saying how persistent it is and how pleased she is.
But women in Romania have not learned an important thing when it comes to perfumes: each woman has to buy a perfume which suits her personality, her age, the moment of day, the season and one of good quality which will not irritate the skin. However, several fashion magazines have tried to make women understand how important this is in order to have a certain ‘culture in perfumes’.
Even if young women nowadays are very attracted to buy perfumes which belong to different stars like Jennifer Lopez or Kylie Minogue, there is a class of women who have culture in what concerns perfumes and who have the money and the tastes to buy a good brand perfume.
Finally, the point is not to buy expensive perfumes, because not everybody can afford this, but to find out which is the best perfume that suits our skin, the way we dress or our age.
