Do you find this statement true or false? Well, I believe that if we were to give a convenient answer we should refer both to the positive but at the same time the negative perspectives.

First, why do teenagers need to have the latest cell-phone model?? Just to show off and from snobbishness could be one of the possible answers. But did you know that there are many teenagers who owe the latest cell-phone model and they don’t even know how to use it? This is a paradox but it is true. They want their parents to buy them such a cell-phone because their best friend has a similar one and it makes very good videos and photos. But they never know which are the other facilities that mobile phone offers.

On the contrast, the latest cell phones enable teens to stay in t ouch with friends and family even if they are at a great distance. However, many parents do not understand these new technologies but they allow their children free reign over a potentially dangerous medium. For example, instead of passing notes in class, teens sometimes send text messages. In addition to text messaging, teenagers can also access the Internet and download pictures, videos or music with their cell phones. It’s an instant source of information that helps young people to be in touch with the latest news or discoveries.

The new generation is very attracted by the challenges that the modern society offers such as computers, television, gaming devices, iPods and cell phones.This advanced activities which occupy the lives of teenagers offer positive advantages, like connectedness and information but at the same time can lead teens into a field of real-world dangers.There is, for example, very easy to order some drugs online with only the help of your latest cell-phone model and then keep in touch with different dealers.

Anyway, apart from some of the negative and dangerous effects we should appreciate the advantages that new digital technology offers to teenagers and also their interest in understanding and using this advanced technology.
