The very first tip is that does not practice jumping all week long rather do it 4 or 5 days of a week. If you will practice it daily, you will soon get fed up and so you can never complete your training for a higher basket ball jump. It is a kind of an exercise that needs to be practiced constantly for months, years and for your entire life.

An athlete or a regular exerciser knows that the warm up stage is the essential part of the game. Before performing a vertical jump in basket ball, keep some of the important points in your mind.

1) St retch yourself properly and do trotting for some time

2) Jumping rope causes synchronization as well as training of the body. So jump a rope in your warm up stage.

3) Go upstairs and then come downstairs but do not do it excessively otherwise you will get tired soon.

4) In necessary conditions running on the stairs can be taken as the full workout

Some suggestions for enhancing your vertical jump in basket ball

• Bend your knees; stand and slowly bow your knees keeping back on its low position and slowly move up. This should be performed for 15 times and with the passage of time increase it.

• Raise your toes; stand straight, lift yourself up on tip toes then gradually lower yourself. Repeat this for 30-50 times.

• Stomach Crunches; lie on your back, using your abs muscles move yourself up while the back straight, go up enough so that your shoulders are lifted from the ground. Repeat frequently.

One may think that the toe raising and stomach crunching has no connection to improve the jump but in actual it enhances your vertical leap.
These exercises are quick and easy to perform. They strength your body and help in perfect building of your muscles.
