Legacy of Terry Schiavo The heartbreaking tragedy in the life of Terri Schiavo had finally come to an end. There was the epic fight of Terri Schiavo with her own fate which had changed the future of the people involved in it and also the future of America. There were number of losers in the decision that was made surrounding Terri Schiavo.

There were dozens of people arrested by the police and many of them were arrested for the improper engagement in misdemeanor activity outside the Schiavo’s hospital in Pinellas Park at Florida.

Chris Keys and his family were there attempting to bring water for Terri and in that course of time he had refused to obey some police instructions and hence was arrested by the police along with his all family members including three of his children and his wife.

Police offi cers have had handcuffed Eva Edl who had tried to put some cool water on Terri’s lips and also took a book from her hand.

When she was being arrested she had told the people that if that would happened to Terri then in the near future it could happen to any of them. More than 50 protestors were arrested and detained by the police that day including a man from Virginia who had acknowledged that most of them knew they would never be successful in their attempts to take water or food to Terri Schiavo.

The protest was not ended with just those arrests and detains but had crossed the limits of misbehaviors.

Richard Meywes had charged for allegedly sending an e-mail which offered a $250,000 bounty for the assassination of Michael Schiavo, Terri’s husband and had also offered $50,000 for the killing of the judge who denied a request to interfere and have Terri’s feeding tube reinserted.

Despite of having no criminal record, Richard Meywes was send to 15 years prison and was fined up to $500,000 for sending the e-mail to two news channels in the Tampa area and a talk show.

There was a man named Michael Mitchell of Rockford who had tried to steal a gun from the store to rescue Terri Schiavo but his struggle went in vain and police had arrested him and charged him for attempted armed robbery, aggravated assault, and criminal mischief.
