LESSON AIMS:
- To develop Ss' speaking competences
- To revise and reinforce grammar concerning second conditional and pronouns
- To encourage speaking and comprehension skills
OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson the Ss will be able to:
- Use correctly the revised grammar problems
- Use the new words and phrases in particular circumstances
- Create their own situations and deal with new circumstances in a conversation

Stages:
- Activity 1: Warm-up (3min)
Teacher's activity: T enters the classroom, greets the Ss, asks them how they are, if there are any Ss missing. T remembers the t
ask for the day, ex. 1 pg 77 from the textbook and asks Ss to review it quickly to make sure there were no problems with solving it at home. T corrects the mistakes, if any.
Students' activity: Ss greet the T, answer the questions and in turn read the exercise.

- Activity 2: (5 min)
Teacher's activity: T shows Ss the example in the textbook and remind them to read the whole text before they try to fill in the gaps. In pairs, Ss check their mistakes.
Students' activity: Ss fill in the gaps then check in pairs.

- Activity 3: (5min)
Teacher's activity: T gives Ss some sentences with mistakes in the language from the Grammar flash.. In small groups Ss correct the mistakes. They check together in larger groups.
Students' activity: Ss correct the mistakes and then check them.

- Activity 4: (5 min)
Teacher's activity: T writes the example If I were you I'd buy a mountain bike. On the board and check the meaning by asking Is it possible I can be you? (No!) What are we doing here? (Imagining)What time are we thinking about? (Present/Future) then T points aut the contractions, e.g. I'd=I would. Ss fill in the rules and answer the questions in pairs, then check the answers with the whole class.
Students' activity: Ss fill in the rules and answer the questions in pairs then report to the class.

- Activity 5: While reading (7min)
Teacher's activity: T shows Ss the example in the textbook. Ss fill in the gaps in pairs then T goes through the answers with the whole class. .

- Activity 6: (5min)
Teacher's activity: T elicits the questions from exercise 1, as far as possible, then Ss look back at exercise 1 to fiind any they could not remember. In pairs, Ss ask the questions and note their partner's answers. T asksseveral Ss to report back to the class.
Students' activity: Ss ask and answer the questions.

Teacher's activity: T preteaches essential vocabulary. Ss write their own answers about the perfect partner then look at the key in pairs. T asks a number of Ss to report back to the class

Teacher's activity: T asks students to write a short description of themselves using the personality adjectives in the textbook then report to the class.

Teacher's activity: T aks the Ss to read the statements and in pairs decide true, false or don't know. T goes through the answers with the whole class
