LESSON AIMS:
- To allow Ss to practise speaking spontaneously and fluently about something that may provoke the use of words and phrases they have been learning recently
- To develop Ss' ability to use language in real life situations
- To develop Ss' speaking and reading skills
- To develop Ss' listening-comprehension abilities
- To revise and reinforce grammar concerning the Present Tense
OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson the Ss will be able to:
- Use correctly the new grammar problem
- Use the new words and phrases in self-created contexts

Stages:
Activity 1:Warm-up ( 3min)
Teacher's activity: T enters the classroom, greets the Ss, and asks them how they are, if there are any Ss missing. T remembers the task for the day, ex.1 pg.72 from the textbook ( Lessons start at 9) and asks Ss to review it quickly to make sure there were no problems with solving it at home. T corrects the mistakes, if any.
Ss' activity: Ss answer the T's questions

Activity 2: (10 min)
Teacher's activity: T plays a cassette with the exercise and asks the Ss have to fill in a chart with hobbies
Students' activity: Ss fill in the chart.

Activity 3: ( 5min )
Teacher's activity: T asks Ss to copy a chart and fill it in, then swap the charts with their partner, then tell the form about him/her

Activity 4: (5min )
Teacher's activity: T asks the Ss to find the words which belong to a number of generic words and ask the Ss to write them on the blackboard.

Teacher's activity: T asks the Ss to fill in an exercise about a daily programme and then make five sentences about their day and tell their partner.
Students' activity: Ss write the unknown words in their notebooks and solve the exercise

Activity 6: Who am I? (5min)
Teacher's activity: T asks Ss to unjumble a string of letters and find some verbs and put them in the sentences and then find out who the person in the text is.
Students' activity: Ss read the sentences to the class.

Activity7: (5min)
Teacher's activity: T asks Ss to fill in the right verbs in the Present Tense Simple and then write them on the blackboard, paying attention to the endings and asks the class to correct their mistakes.

Activity 8: (5min)
Teacher's activity: T writes down the new words and then asks the pupils to write six sentences with adverbs of frequency.
Students' activity: Ss combine the names of the characters, the verbs and the adverbs of frequency and read them to the class.

Teacher's activity: T asks the Ss to say what a character in the book does every week and what he is doing now.
