Medival II : Total War is the indirect sequel to Medival: Total War that was released in 2002. This is the fourth game in The Creative Assembly series. The game depends on an epic including turn based strategic rounds and also real time oriented battles that are to be fought tactically. The theme of the game is set in between years 1080 and 1530.
Exactly similar to the original game, Medival: Total War, this game also focuses on the warfare means of the medieval age. the religion and politics of Europe, Middle East and North Africa also play an important role. But different from the earlier versions, a tech tree which spans to the age when gun power was used is integrated towards to the end of the game. The time frame of the game looks extends to the ear of the New World Discovery and

Like the previous versions there are two modes of play: single player campaign and battles. Battles are played in multiplayer in scenarios defined by the user. There is also an option to select historic scenario that stimulates the original battles like the Battle of Agincort or the Battle of Arsuf.
