There is no doubt about the fact that money has become a very important part not just of our daily lives, but also of the entire human society. There is no single thing on earth one can get without any money being involved, that some might state that we are even paying for the air we are breathing. Of course, should you want to breath in some fresh mountain air, you have to pay for a vacation there, isn’t it?
The saying that money cannot buy happiness has become rather old and unfashionable, as all the real world’s facts state the opposite. You cannot possibly lead a happy life when there are so many things you want to have and enjoy. None of them comes for free, therefore money is absolutely crucial in insuring a person’s well-being.
Yes, there ar
e few people who have deliberately given up all these material reasons for happiness, but the strange thing is that they are considered to be some kind of freaks nowadays.
It is money to decide the fate of the society in this crazy world we are living in. You will probably agree with me that all the political decisions are based on the financial advantages and disadvantages they may offer. It is not about the doctrines of the political parties anymore, but about what their leaders have to gain form a certain decision or not.
Even the richest countries in the world only care about the money! To a certain point, this is the right thing to do, as the money must be invested for the well-being of the people. The sad thing is that this money is not always directly targeted to the people, or at least a part of it is poured into the wrong pockets! I will no longer discuss the matter of whose pockets are or not in question here. There are people specialized in investigating these matters and there is no point in interfering with their work.
The only thing we must keep in mind is that we must try and not become the slaves of money, at least not completely!
