More countries backing US than in 1991-Donald Rumsfeld

Q:   Ask a Question about More countries backing US than in 1991-Donald Rumsfeld
While talking to the BBC's David Dimbleby, the United States of America’s Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said that even without a sanction from the United Nations, more countries would back an American led war on Iraq this time. He said this when he was counter questioned that many people believe that America is acting like a fool and going on this war alone. Mr. Rumsfeld said this compared to the than thirty three strong coalition in the 1991 Gulf war.

The countries that were actively involved in 1991 Gulf war were France, Germany and Syria and Pakistan. Mr. Rumsfeld said that he was bored of reading the dumb columns containing that America is a unilateralist and that they are alone in this war. Mr. Rumsfeld also told the correspondent that Saddam Hussain was still developing chemic al or biological weapons even after the United Nations Arms Inspector gave the country a stern warning.

The American government needed a Defense Secretary who had nerves of steel and un-doubtable and Mr. Rumsfeld is proving his mantel by handling these belligerent issues with a much aggression.

When questioned by the BBC correspondent that the Iraqi administration could not just like that go on manufacturing biological and chemicals weapons, they must have made some infrastructure and smuggled machines.

To this bold question Mr. Rumsfeld took a stern look and replied that one should not doubt the credentials of Saddam Hussain. He added that Saddam was a very smart and intelligent guy and does all these things in underground. He also said that Saddam was very skill at deception and denial.

Mr. Rumsfeld accepted the fact the American government would have more trust votes in the world politics and gained more allies if the American External Affairs agency had spend more time on Israeli-Palestine conflict than they had the spend the time on Iraq matters.

On a note of sarcasm Mr. Rumsfeld said that Mr. Collin Powell the Secretary of State Affairs USA was gaining success now in the matters of international vote banks, but it could have been higher and faster.
