At the age of 29 years, Oprah Winfrey went to live on Chicago and there she received a job like host at the television WLS-TV. This TV show name was AM Chicago and was at the morning. The audience was very low and Oprah was tasked to make the show a good one.

She worked very much and after some months the show became very famous and from the last place became a very good one and came through the first places. Because was very famous they changed the name from "AM Chicago" in "The Oprah Winfrey Show".

Many years later, in one of her shows Oprah confessed that Roger Ebert convinced her to sign a new contract with this television and to start to work at this TV show. Oprah was very happy that she listened to Roge r and received the job because in this way she became famous and loved by many people. Her TV show became a famous one and her audience was double; she took the place of another famous TV hosts.

From that moment many magazines wrote many things about Oprah and her show because they never believed that she will do a good job and she will make the show to be number one. Also, the magazines and many people from TV said a lot of ugly things about her but the people who really appreciated her said only good things and encouraged Oprah on her job. A lot of journalists wrote a lot about her and she was all the time on the first pages of the magazines. She changed the theme of her show and started to speak about women and their illness. Oprah had important people like guests and spoke about many problems that have the women. She was very appreciated for that.

Oprah had also a famous guest on her show. She invited Michael Jackson at her TV show and at that moment she gained more audience and her show was the fourth on that year in the top of the audiences. In one of her shows Oprah confessed that her TV show will end on September 2011 because she wants to have her own television channel and for that she needs to work a lot.
