There are things in life we never get tired of like going shopping or having fun with our friends. Among these we also must mention gossiping. Even though men claim women spend their time talking about relatives, friends, neighbors, it has been scientifically proved that men gossip more than women do only that the favorite subjects are distinct. Men always talk about former girlfriends, about cars and football matches. Still on the top of the list are all the women they have met so far, all those who have broken their hearts or those who they have cheated on.

When certain friends come together no matter what activity they are having together the atmosphere is completed by just a little bit of spicy details about who has left who recently, about what care the next door neighbor has recently bought or things like that which hint at a slight feeling of envy.

Even though we claim not to care about the things we see around us we can't help thinking why he has a better car than us, or why his house is much more luxurious when we know we well he spends all his time wondering the city without having the least concern about his job or the family responsibilities.

We all know life is not fair and no matter how hard we may try not to look at what others are doing we simply can't help ourselves. When we also get together with the persons who share our beliefs the gossip is inevitable. It is one thing when you speak nicely about a person, when you praise her actions and another one when you criticize what he or she is doing. That is called gossiping.

Many times gossiping is harmless and it doesn't affect the others. But there are also cases when persons find out what other are talking about them and they get angry or feel hurt. Many friendships have been broken due to this "hobby" and things couldn’t be repaired as the consequences were too severe.

All in all gossiping represents a common activity in our daily routine and we should be careful at what we say and how we say it because we risk losing persons we really care about.
