Paris Hilton was born on 17th February 1981 to Richard Hilton and Kathy Hilton in New York City, U.S. Her father Richard is a businessman and her mother a socialite and an actress. Paris has three siblings.

Among them are two brothers named Barron Nicholas Hilton II and Conrad Hughes Hilton III and a sister named Nicholai Olivia “Nicky” Hilton. Her paternal grandfather is Hotel chairman Barron Hilton.

Paris Hilton switched many homes in her youth which includes a suite in the Waldorf - Astoria Hotel on Manhattan, Beverly Hills and the Hamptons. She attended a number of schools in her life including the "Marywood-Palm Valley School" in Rancho Mirage, California and the "Dwight School" in New York followed by a few months at the "Canterbury School" in New Milford, Connecticut.

She was a member of the ice hockey team at the Canterbury Boarding School. But she was later suspended from the school for violating the rules in early 1999. Hilton later earned General Educational Development (GED) degree, a series of five tests, which certifies that she has American or Canadian high School Level academic skills.

Paris Hilton has done it all. She has worked as an actor, singer, model and also been engaged in business activities. The renowned Forbes Magazine has estimated that she has earned 2 million dollars in the year 2003–2004, 6.5 million dollars in the year 2004–2005, and 7 million dollars in the year 2005–2006.

In her childhood she started modeling at charitable events. But at the age of 19 she signed up a modeling assignment with Donald Trump’s modeling agency, T management.

This was just the beginning for the little girl whose career grew by leaps and bounds over the years. Paris gained the reputation of "New York's leading It Girl” and her fame extended even beyond the boundaries of the New York city.

Her career sky rocketed to new heights which even saw her getting involved in series of controversies.

Nonetheless, Paris Hilton has always been a flamboyant free spirited human being and for some or the other reason she has always hit the news.
