Usain Bolt was born on 21st August, 1986. Usain Bolt was born in the Sherwood content. It is a small town in Trelawny in Jamaica. Usain bolt was raised by his parents Jennifer and Wellesley Bolt. He grew up with brother Sadeeki and his sister Sherine.

Apart from his running, Bolt is very much interested in dancing. Bolt is supposed to have a nonchalant character and a relaxed attitude. Bolt idolises a lot of track and field runners.

Herb McKenley and former Jamaican 200m record holder Don Quarrie are the Jamaican track and field runners whom Bolt idolises. Bolt also respects Michael Johnson, the former 200m world and Olympic record holder and idolises him. Bolt gave respect to true sportsmanship and athletes.

In childhood, Bolt spent most of his time in playing cricket and footb all with his brother, Sadeeki in the street. Bolt was highly interested in cricket in childhood. He said once that if he would not have been a sprinter, he would have become a fast bowler instead.

He was a huge supporter of Pakistan as a child and an admirer of the bowling of Waqar Younis. He also admires Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar, West Indian opener Chris Gayle and Australian opener Matthew Hayden.

Bolt also has a lot of interest in football and is a great fan of Manchester United. He also met the Manchester United team once on their training ground when he had gone to Manchester for a race. He also offered some sprinting advice Portugese national Cristiano Ronaldo.

After Bolt won the 200 m title in the 2002 World Junior Championships in Kingston, Jamaica, Bolt signed an endorsement deal with Puma. A lightning storm struck New York before Bolt made a record breaking run in the City, since then the press nicknamed Bolt as “Lightning Storm” and the “Bolt from the Blue.

Bolt’s the then world setting run and his preparations for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China was released as a series of videos by Puma. His videos basically included his training sessions and other running moments of his life. PACE Sports Management is his athletic agent.
