Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends is one real time strategy game made for the PC by the developers Big Huge Games. Microsoft published the game. This is a spiritual sequel to the popular game named the Rise of the Nations that was released in May in the year 2003. But, rather being a game of history, Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends is based on a world of fantasy, where magic coexisted with technology. The game was released on May 9th in 2006 for North America and on various other dates in many other parts of the world.

Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends is a game that features the Rise of fictional nations like the borders, assimilations, city buildings etc. Nut Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends makes a new feature of its own like heroes, a more simplified economy and districts. The resou rce wood that was reality based is replaced by Timonium.

Different from the past versions, the Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends has only three civilizations to select from. The older versions had 18 races to choose from.
Rise of Legends has a number of unique features that set it apart from its predecessor. Different from many games where the player begins from the centre and expands, Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends provides the player with a city centre. There are three districts in the game. The player can choose one out of them and then start playing.

The game though it maintained the old story had added much more graphics and a few twists in the story line. This gained the attention of the game enthusiasts. The art direction of the game has won it several awards.

Why is Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends famous?

On release the response of Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends was favourable. The critic average score was just above average. The awards won were the Special Achievement in Art Direction Award of the Gamespy and The Best Game No One Else Liked Award of the Voodoo.
