The internet has become a part of our everyday life and there is nothing we can do about it. It is a means of communication as well as a good way of relaxing and having fun. No matter the place of the world we are living in, the internet is the same for each and every one of us.
Should we wish to improve our knowledge, or should we be looking for a specific piece of information, the internet is the perfect tool for our quest. If we do not have the time to shop, ordering stuff online is the solution to our problem. It is available practically everywhere we might find ourselves, on sea, on land and in the air! Therefore, the internet is a very useful thing for most people.
There is no doubt that every good thing has at least one minor bad part, no matter
how small and insignificant it may seem when compared to the benefits it provides. The internet is no exception to the rule. I am speaking about the harmful information, which may come up in the most unexpected places. People can use the internet as a means of communication, but in service of evil, instead of the good. You can sometimes stumble across violence instigation and even violent actions, presented to the public as very normal way of expressing beliefs and ideals. An intelligent person will always be able to tell apart good and evil, but what can we do to help the teenagers and children? Not to speak about the unbalanced adults! This sort of information is leading to many of the violent incidents in schools and no one seems to care.
There are too few organizations that monitor the internet and the information provided by it. They cannot possibly demolish all the bad things in the internet, which are being advertised in a more or less obvious way.
My belief is that the parents are the ones who should keep an eye on what their children are doing on the internet. Should we be mature and balanced persons, it is up to us to decide what is harmful or not!
