Even the most common person, any layman who doesn't have anything to do with physics would be aware of Sir Isaac Newton and the falling apple story and the discovery of gravity, though they might not even be able to define gravity in terms of physics.

This is the penetration of his greatness and fame. Every country, every people, every culture is aware of him. His inventions and his fame know no boundaries.

There are lots of inventions and discoveries which sir Newton has given to this world as a gift apart from gravity. Without his inventions today's modern physics would have no foundations. He invented the famous gravitational rule.

He is also wo rshipped for his invention of three laws of motion. And it is due to his laws of motion today we're able to land ourselves on moon. Out of his three laws of motion all rockets in the world today use the third law of motion to go into space.

Apart from motion, Sir Isaac Newton has made significant advancements in the fields of optics. He was the first one to discover that white light is made of seven different colors and you could observe all those colors in specific pattern when passed through a prism. He also discovered the aberration and dispersion of light in telescope and also invented a telescope by himself which was also called reflecting telescope.

Sir Isaac Newton has also made unforgettable contribution to the field of mathematics. He laid the base of calculus upon which today's most complex mathematical problems.

Though he wasn't sure of himself when he came up with the idea of calculus, and later on Leibniz proved it completely. Sir Isaac Newton has given lots of world most valuable things upon which today's physics and mathematics are dependent.

He had written a book in his time called, 'The Principia'. This book was very-very famous and it put Newton on the map of top scientists across the globe. Despite such gigantic achievements, Sir Newton humbly says that he hasn't made any great inventions; he is just a kid playing on the seashore of science collecting pebbles. What great humbleness!
