An important point of his intervention is collaboration with the parents and their counseling, their direct involving in working with the children, not just as an observer but as participants.

Teachers must help the children's parents with disabilities to take care for themselves, by that offering a better care for their children. When they are relaxed, equilibrated and enjoying is much more easy for them to see their children as humans. Their abilities to solve the problems are better and they are less tented to considering children's behavior as a personal outrage or as a reflection of the fact that they are "good" or "bad". Teachers must make the parents understanding that they have many i deas for interact positively with their children. Parents are models for their children and by them, they learn to live in harmony with the world.

Special education teachers work with children and youths who have a variety of disabilities and use various techniques to promote learning. Depending on the disability, teaching methods can include individualized instruction, problem-solving assignments, and small-group work. When students need special accommodations to take a test, special education teachers see that appropriate ones are provided, such as having the questions read orally or lengthening the time allowed to take the test.

Teachers must understand the importance of communication, starting with all speechless communication methods. It needs exercise for learning to communicate positively and efficient. As the parent part, this one we are referring is not a self ability, but it may be learned.

Only by join forces of parents, teachers and school results a better integration of children with special needs.
