B. B. C. is, in fact, the British Broadcasting Corporation. It is appeared in 1922, as a private company. It becomes corporation in 1927, in the hasis of Royal Carta. Now, it is recognized as a Governmental Institution.

As for its structure, the corporation is managed by a committee of twelve members named by the Govern and having the right to give the general themes of the emissions transmitted on the two television branches: BBC 1 and BBC 2. It also recommends the five central radio stations: Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4, Radio 5 and over thirty-five local station.

B.B.C. is financed by over 20 millions subscriptions of the citizens, also by the sale of the "Radio Times" publication.

From its beginning, B. B. C. had a golden rule: the neutrality of op inions in sprite of the political color of the Government. It had also forbidden the commercials in order to assure "good" broadcasts.

For a while, B. B. C. shows had the air of puritan transmissions, fact that led to the funny name of the Institution: "Auntie Beeb" or "Auntie", indicating the way to circumspect language of the shows.

The B. B. C. World service is the title of the transmissions worldwide, in English and other languages, its main themes being aspects of British external politics and international events.

The central headquarters of B. B. C. World Service in the center of London (Aldwyeh-Kingsway) is Buch House. It is named after Irving T. Buch, the American that had designed it in 1931. Above its main entrance one can see a huge statue representing "The Youth", and dedicated to "the friendship with people speaking English language".
