The Early Life of Charles Krauthammer

Charles Krauthammer was born on March 13, 1950 in New York City, New York but he grew up in Montreal, Canada with his entire family because he went there to study.

Charles studied a lot since he was just a child because his parents wanted that when will grow up to become an important man. He took care of the words that his parents told him and he was a good boy. He is not the only child of the family because his parents have another boy. In this way Charles spent his childhood with his brother.

In Montreal Charles went to study at the Herzliah High School and after that at the McGill University. After that he received an honors degree in political science and economics in 1970 and his parents were very p roud about him and he was very happy because he graduated. Charles studied a lot and after that for just a year he was a Commonwealth Scholar in politics at Balliol College, Oxford. After that Charles went at United States and there he went to study at the Harvard Medical School.

In his first year of studies he had some problems with his legs and he was paralyzed but he continued his studies from the hospital. Charles finished his studies in the same time with his colleagues and he received an M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 1975 and after that Charles started to work like a psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital. He became a Chief Resident in Psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital and he started to write some things about his work in a newspaper.

At the age of 28 years old he ended his career like psychiatrist and continued to write at the "The New Republic" magazine and his work was very appreciated by a lot of important people and by many famous doctors. Charles liked very much what he made and the idea of being a writer and at the age of 31 years old he started his journalistic career like writer and editor at the "The New Republic" magazine and very soon after that he started to write for Time magazine and Washington Post and there he won the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for commentary.

Charles became a famous man in his country and he started to work many famous and important people. In 2006 he became the most influent commentator in America and he started to write and comment about politics and he was one of the best from there. During the next years he received many other awards and he was very happy and proud about his entire work.
