If we consider the fact that every child from this world has the right to receive proper education, and equal chances to all the forms of learning and acquiring knowledge, it is obvious that suffer of various disabilities must be included and integrated in the learning institutions (kinder gardens, schools, etc).
Special needs is a term used in clinical diagnostic and functional development to describe individuals who require assistance for disabilities such as medical, mental, or psychological.
The children represent the symbol of innocence, of purity, they are the greatest gift of our lives, the must valuable resources of our future.
One of the most important changes regarding the children protection occurred through the passing from the individual approach of the handicap to the
social approach.
Respecting the equal right to education for each child, and with the help of our partner, The International Organization World Vision, I started to work at my class with two children suffering of locomotion handicaps.
These children found no problems in the integration process, being very easy accepted by their classmates and their parents.
They started to feel really comfortable in this class, they made a lot of friends, and gladly took part at our indoors and outdoors activities .
As a part of the school preparation program, I taught them to accept diversity, and the fact that people can be united through diversity.
Now, in every month, children with disabilities coming from the
Organization World Vision visit our kinder garden, take part at our activities, feeling very well in our presence, surrounded by the love of their parents, their classmates, and their teachers.
