Tips to Learn Tennis

Tips to Learn Tennis by FW Editor

"Depth is king" this was once said by the former French open champion Michael Chang, he was the world no 2 tennis player. He knows that he was only one to keep on the top of the rankings and the winnings at Wimbledon tournaments. However, the most important is the tips to play the tennis efficiently in the real world. As keeping lots of shots in the court is not really easy it will keep you in the points for more and more shots and ask your opponent to hit the 1 or 2 shots extra because at every point they may feel uncomfortable with, and it will help you as they will often lead them to the mistakes.

You should always remember the most important rule of the tennis which is "the winner of the point is the last person to hit the ball in court" and only the depth consistent will help you to be that person and for achieving this you must need the huge rectangle which should be formed by the service line, base line and single slide line as your target. Spend 5 minutes before your next practice or lesson. Then it's better to drop some of the balls for you and hit the shots over the net and try to get the ball in this "black box".

Award yourself 5 points or 10 points if you shot goes over and lands in either the service boxes. Award yourself scores zero if your balls fail to go over the net, or it goes too deep, and it drops beyond the baseline and also if it is too wide and then drops in the tramlines, or it goes completely out of the court.

The major mistakes most of the players made at this stage if that they hit the ball too low and possibly into the net, or they hit the ball to be short. It's better for you to hit the ball with some topspin. It will help the ball to fall comfortably into the court on the other side of the net.

These tips are very beneficial for you either on your own or with your partner. These drills pay you huge dividends in the future as they teach you how to hit the ball and where to hit it.
