Children are said to be a family's most precious treasure as they are reason for joy and happiness when born. Being mother is a special gift from god and we have to share feelings of affection and protection with the new born creatures.
If I am lucky to have children, at least one, I will give him or her all my love because, unfortunately, I was born in a family which lacked affection and attention. Communication and understanding from part of my parents didn’t exist and, therefore, I have had many unhappy moments in my childhood and not only. Moreover, the relationship between my mother and father was not a good one, as they used to discuss a lot and I consider they have totally different personalities.
Therefore, as a mother, I would like to offer my child or
children all the things I didn’t receive in my childhood. First of all, I will try to get closer to my children and communicate with them from an early age. I will learn how to listen to their wishes and concerns and help them each time they will need me. A positive aspect in my childhood was that my parents took me to different activities for children, like aerobics, dancing or fencing. I consider physical activity is efficient from an early age that is why I would like to take my children to do swimming classes, aerobics or dancing, and even tennis, if possible.
I will also interfere in their education as much as possible, especially helping them with homework. As foreign languages are so important nowadays, I will try my best to help them have the necessary conditions to learn a foreign language from an early age. Moreover, I will take them to different activities for children, to museums, to the parks, in trips, to parties.
All in all, I want to be very close to my children and offer them all the happiness and joy in the world. I consider that communication is the only means which provides a good relationship between parents and children, and is even more important than money in a family. That is, even if a family has an important social status, this doesn't mean that family is happy, too and has a good relationship with its children.
