50 Cent is a very famous name; perhaps most famous name in the American hip-hop world. He like his contemporaries is a gangsta rap singer and his songs are mostly about life in streets, injustice to his black brothers, drugs and crime. He himself has taken bullets on his body nine times but has survived miraculously.

He has been a victim of underworld shoot out many times and all of them have wondered that who were the people who wanted him dead? There are several speculations on his being shot and his violent encounters. Even the police is investigating about this incidents but nothing substantial could come out.

Earlier when 50 Cent was asked about who wanted him dead, he always answered he is a man whom he used t o work with and is a low level drug dealer. But that man was found dead 3 weeks later 50 Centís testament. So the question remained alive.

Then, later on when 50 Cent came up with the song disparaging the infamous drug lord, Lord Kenneth McGriff, aka Supreme he was encountered by three men and shot from a point blank range. This is what the rapper himself testified to the police.

Soon after that police got hold of a gangsta related to McGriff's gang named Ragin, also said to the police that Supreme had told them, "I got him". He also explained how the gang shot him and how they left the singer lying on ground and bleeding heavily. He said how he was struggling to pull out bullets out from him with his hands.

This led to a very big investigation, and people like Christopher and Irving Lorenzo and their label Murder Inc became highly controversial. It was believed that McGriff ran his drug empire and his street killing gang through Murder Inc.

A lot of people were prosecuted and brought under the radar as it involved lot of famous people. But people believe rap has always been a world with violence and murders. Many famous rappers have ended their lives by getting killed by bullets.

But on the other side there are people as well who think that this world is watched with a biased eye and the picture they are depicting is not true.
