Why do the majority of young couples choose not to get married? Why are they afraid of? Are marriages out-dated in the 21st century or is it that people want to feel more independent? Do marriages make us feel trapped in "golden" cages? All these questions trouble us each day and we come to wonder if it is worth paying the price.
When you are involved in a long term relationship you get to the point when you have to decide whether you want to end the relationship and try something else or whether you decide to try the next step and arrive in front of the altar and say the magic words: "I do". Men are usually the ones who get scared and they are terrified at the thought of having to spend their whole existence next to the same woman. They think they will get bored
of the same face, the same gestures, the same reactions, and that the daily routine will lead them to the point of cheating on their wives. But if you are really in love with the person next to you the solution will be found in no time.
I don’t say that only men think so. There are also many women who are afraid of the world "marriage" or "commitment". You simply have to feel the moment you are ready to share your life with the person you love. The case becomes worse if the partners don’t agree on this aspect and they break up as one of them wants to get married and the other one doesn’t even want to hear about it.
The trend today is to have as much fun as possible and less responsibilities like a family, children and the consequences brought by these changes. People fall in love, are ready to spend as much time as they can with the person they love, but at the same time they want to be able to say "by" and "see you tomorrow". It really doesn't matter if you fall in love every week or every month: what is important is to be satisfied with the way your life is and never regret the decision you take. Fight for what you believe in and never be sorry.
