It doesn't really matter whether I eat out or at home. I always worry about the calories and fat content of what I am eating. Mum says I worry too much and that it has become an obsession.
Partly it is true because I had a period when I put on weight and I didn't feel good about myself so I decided to start a diet. I don't speak about something drastic or about those diets which give you a specific time of the day when you must eat, the dishes you have to prepare and how to do it. I don't agree with these types of diets because the moment you end them and you start eating all kind of products you put again on weight and you have to start it all over again.
I began to eat many fruit and vegetables, to use only olive oil in salads, to reduce the fat content and
eat only light products, not to eat too much sugar and sweets and I lost weight. So that this healthy way of life has effects you would better go to a gym or to the park and jog. Physical training keeps you both fit and healthy.
I am against fast food so if I eat out I don't eat stuff like that. I usually have roast chicken with a salad. I have a lot of friends who eat a lot at Mc Donald's or in Italian restaurants, but I don’t mind as I know what is healthy for my body or not.
Obesity and heart disease are one of the main concerns of doctors all over the world and campaigns for the education of citizens are promoted at TV, in magazines and newspapers.
We should be very careful about what we eat and how it affects our body. We all want to keep fit and to look the best we can but whenever we go out we have a pizza or pasta. And then you wonder why that skirt doesn't fit you anymore or the shirt is too tight. It is also very important to know at what time of the day you have your meals. If you really want to eat some sweets you can have them but in the morning so that you have time to burn out all the calories throughout the entire day.
