Enrique Iglesias continued his great work year by year and his songs too continued to hit the charts.

On 25th March 2008, he released Spanish greatest Hits Album which included many top songs, of which three got placed on Hot Latin Tracks chart.

Another song “Donde Estan Corazon” which is written by Argentine star Coti, became Iglesias’s 18th number 1 single in Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs. This album was his second Spanish Album to debut in top 20 Billboards Top 200 Albums, with the first one being “Quizas” debuted at 12 in 2002. The album has been certified platinum in the U.S and in some Latin American countries.

Another song which got famous and reached #1 was “Lloro Por Ti”. The song’s remix version featured Wisin y Yandel. He did a tour of U.S beginning from Laredo, Texas and ending at Izod Center, New Jersey. He was accompanied by Aventura band throughout the tour. He even performed at the Lo Nuestro Awards and at the Billboard Latin Music Awards where he was applauded.

Later, in the year, he released a compilation of his English language hits which included “Can You Hear Me”, “Away” and “Takin’ Back My Love”. The compilation also includes “Bailamos”, “Hero”, “Be with you”, “Not in Love” and “Escape”, which received lots of appreciation all across the world. These songs also topped various Billboard Charts.

Besides these there were few others also which were successful such as “Rhythm Divine”, “Tired of Being Sorry” and “Do you know”. Iglesias also featured in duet “Miss You” with Nadiya. The album got the huge success with 80,000 copies sold in its first 2 weeks only. It debuted at #3 on the UK Album Chart.

For every great work, one deserves the appreciation from the masses and from the critics. In 2008, Iglesias was chosen as the best singer in two different categories of World Music Awards, held at Monaco on November 9. Of which, the first category was “World’s Best Selling Latin Performer” and the other one was “World’s Best Selling Spanish Artist”.
