I was looking for a powerful tool, a tool which can help me manage and edit several PDF files. Unfortunately, the PDF format leaves little room for document editing (without proper tools, the user can’t even copy a text from a PDF file).

Recently I have discovered jPDF Tweak. I was surprised to see that jPDF Tweak doesn’t require installation (unlike other similar applications) and all you have to do is run its .JAR file. Of course, the first impression was of “a cheap software”, a tool that can provide a limited number of features and tools. It was a wrong impression as jPDF Tweak is maybe the best PDF editor I have ever seen (and trust me, I have seen many applications of this type).
First of all, the focus in jPDF Tweak is not on interface. This is a great thing and a huge plus, at least from my point of view. Because its developer tried to offer a simple yet fully functional interface, jPDF Tweak is extremely easy to use and intuitive for those without strong technical knowledge.
jPDF Tweak was created to offer a complete set of tools for PDF editing. You can basically do anything with a PDF document, from merging two or more PDF files, up to adding watermarks, attachments and even protect your important documents using a password.

jPDF Tweak allows you to import and edit even huge PDF documents (with more than 5.000 pages). Of course, it may take a while to load such a file but you will be surprised how easy is to change the page numbers, to shuffle pages, to add comments, to add watermarks or to rotate various images from landscape to portrait view.

PDF format is becoming more and more popular. Unlike a simple word document, a PDF file can store considerably more information in a user friendly environment. It allows you to easily browse through pages, jump to a certain page, view chapters and much more. Because of that, people are deciding to release their documents as PDF. On the other hand, a PDF file can be extremely hard to manage and edit. Once created, editing options are really limited.

jPDF Tweak is a powerful tool which “removes” that barrier and allows you to edit a PDF document as any other document (Microsoft Word doc for example). The possibilities are endless and because of that, jPDF Tweak is the most powerful PDF editor available.
