You are determined to have a plastic surgery but your husband is totally against it. What is to be done in this case?

Physical beauty is considered a feminine trait that is why the majority of the persons who choose to have this kind of medical intervention are women. Men wanting to do this are only exceptions. The canons of beauty have changed through out the centuries: if in the 16th century everybody used to appreciate the women with round shapes, today slimness rules. 90-60-90 have become a myth of beauty.

It is obvious that not all women can be models and if you don’t fit the "standards" doesn't mean you are not beautiful. What counts most is that you are satisfied with yourself, to have a healthy body, to know how to highlight what you have beautiful.


Why do women decide to have plastic surgery?

The women who have had a plastic surgery say that this intervention made them feel good about themselves. Eventually the effect is a state of completeness and happiness that fills up their lives.

There are may women who don't feel good about themselves. They are worried about the image they offer to their partners.

If you are not pleased with yourself you consider that the same goes with your husband. On the contrary if you are satisfied with yourself you think that your husband or your boyfriend will feel the same. The result? More happiness.

The majority of men who are against these surgeries claim that they can be very dangerous and that their wives are out to useless sufferings just because they are stubborn and are not satisfied with what God and nature gave them. Furthermore the costs of he intervention can be quite high and some sacrifices must be made to afford the surgery.

Still women should have the right to take this decision only by themselves and their husbands should support them in whatever they decide. Every problem is the owner of his or her life and only them can decide what is the best for their body.
