Romanian Gypsies: Between Integration and Marginalization

Q:   Ask a Question about Romanian Gypsies: Between Integration and Marginalization
Romanian Gypsies: Between Integration and Marginalization by Monique Barb -

The necessity to educate the rroma ethnics -Romanian gypsies- as a mandatory step towards racial and cultural integration in the European space is a new reality of the European continent.
This new reality is a problematic and difficult task; if left unsolved would gravely perturb the dynamics if a new world whose paramount option is civilization and education.

The problematic of educating the rroma -gypsies- children is one of the many challenges confronting the economic, social, cultural or civic of the Romanian society.
It is part of a larger problem, of the marginalized children due to various reasons; it needs to be addressed based on multiple specific parameters varying from residence, ethnic appartenence to a specific minority or ethnic or social group that also includes different levels of pauperity and/or poverty.

Recent transformations of the economic realities such as unemployment, inflation, excessive gap and differences in income levels as well as the steep decline of the living standard, housing crisis and other reasons, are the main factors to blame for the apparition and increase of the marginalization phenomenon and the new group of people that came with it.
All these factors created the new group of economic and socially marginalized persons.

The problem of the rroms children education is one of the challenges, which meets the social-economics and cultural or civic groups in Romania.

This is part of a larger problem, that of the excluded children and edged children, for different reasons, needing special taking cares regarding special parameters: living places, belonging to ethnic minority groups, belonging to a social group with a minimal economic status.
