Recent studies show that 90% of the teenagers all over the world want to become models, to march on the podium at Milan, to be famous, to afford buying the most expensive clothes, to have photo shootings with the best photographers all over the world.
But to have all these, girls lose their adolescence trying to work a lot, to go to gym, to keep diets and spend long hours in studios or on the platform. They have to make sacrifices, to skip classes, to study harder so as to keep up with the good results at classes. There are also the teachers who, at times, don't understand their efforts and consider the girls don't take school seriously and thus a lot of problems appear.
The girls don't have too much fun as they are always busy. They can't go out with their f
riends, they can't have trips or go on holidays as they can't stay away from the platform for too much time.
Still, one of the worst aspect of the issue are the diets and the health problems that put their lives in danger. Teenagers lose their life due to starvation and to long hours of training at gym.
As a result of this, most brands in the fashion industry have agreed to put some limits to the girls' weight so as to make them eat healthy and realize that skinny bodies aren't at all attractive or sexy. Men usually prefer voluptuous lines which make them lose their minds.
A healthy body means a healthy mind, and thus less stress and less problems. When you are happy you think that life is less black and more pink.
Fashion means glamour, style, elegance, and fantasy. But to have all these you must establish an order in the list of your priorities so as not to waste precious time with foolish dreams. Be realistic and think there are better things than fashion and modeling, like spending time with your friends and enjoy life to the full.
