The society we live in gives us certain rules we should obey to. Respecting these rules is, in fact our respect towards us and the others. I think liberty is the most important right we have. We have to respect the liberty of the others so they should respect the liberty of ourselves. We all love liberty. The love of liberty is love of others. It is like you don’t have to do the things you don’t like to the others.

In my opinion this kind of love of freedom is conditioned by the society. We have to respect the liberty of the others in order to have our "own" liberty. If we don’t respect that we have to suffer the consequences. So, we do this thing for us and for the others at the same time.

But, if we play the game of power we see that we can harm the othe rs. The love of power is the love of yourself. In this game we know that we have to do all we can in order to reach the top. It is the strongest proof of selfishness. What we do we do for us. We do it to make us feel better, to climb the highest pick. The others are not so important right now. It is you who are the most important. The love of power is the greatest love of all for some of us. We could do all the things we couldn’t have done by now just to obtain the “power”.

Friendships could be destroyed by this sick game of power. We become interested only in our person. We give up all the good things in life. We even suppress the rights of the others in order to feel ourselves better.

Is this a good thing? I guess not! We know that at the end of the game there is nothing left. We could lose our friends. There are cases some people lost their families. This lust for power can make us become “real animals” we only think about how we survive. We have no interest in helping the others once we have some material advantages.
