Present society is being confronted with an interesting, but at the same time a sad phenomenon: there is an inflation of singers and bands that have little to do with good music. In Romania and not only, there have appeared many singers or bands who know little about what good music means. What is the cause of this inflation?
Well, most of these singers have taken music as a 'job' because it is a good source of making money. And if you have a good sex-appeal and also original or expensive clothes to show off at your concerts or at different appearances in public, then your voice is not as important as it should be. The public will prefer to admire more the most interesting parts of your body, no matter if you are a girl or a boy. They will even forget about the fact
that you are there to show your music skills and not the way you are dancing, which is important, too but not at such a high level.
Therefore, we can see many young girls on TV who look very good but who have nothing to do with music. They choose to wear very provocative outfits to catch the attention but when it comes to sing something they are a complete mess and one doesn't need to have an ear for music to notice their lack of talent. But anyway, they have concerts and they enjoy traveling from one place to another. And we can say it is the public’s fault to accept this because it is pleased with this commercial music. Anyway, this kind of public is represented generally by young people because adults do not listen to this type of music, and prefer listening to old good bands.
However, young generations should understand that appearance in music is important but is always goes after one’s talent and a good voice. It is essential to be able to sing live at the concerts and all these bands that have little to do with good music are a failure on stage. If somebody has a great voice and wants to become a singer he should also try to follow special studies in this area, because they will help him imporove his abilities.
